Wellesley Township Heritage Designations

Under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, municipalities in Ontario have the ability to designate buildings that they determine to be "cultural heritage value or interest." The property must meet one or more of the prescribed criteria related to the building's physical, historical and contextual value. 

Wellesley Township Heritage & Historical Society (formerly LACAC) has designated nine properties in the township.
