About Us

The Wellesley Township Heritage and Historical Society (WTHHS) was formed when Wellesley Township Heritage merged with the Wellesley Township Historical Society in 2007. 

Our Terms of Reference can be seen here. 

The primary objectives of the Society are: 
1. To
collect, preserve and exhibit artifacts, photographs and documents pertaining to the history of Wellesley  Township

2. To
acquire artifacts, documents, narratives and records of Wellesley Township’s pioneers and families

3. To
research significant events and people and circumstances pertaining to the history of Wellesley Township

4. To
maintain a facility for the storage and exhibition of artifacts, photographs and documents pertaining to the history of Wellesley Township

5. To
host history-related exhibits and presentations throughout the year to which the general public is invited
