Notes:
  • 1961-moved to lot 91 East Woolwich Township, the Holtzworth Farm
  • 1980-following a barn fire of Feb 16, 1980, Amos no longer was an active farmer
  • 1982-as guest speaker at the 150th Wellesley Township celebrations, commented on the large amounts of money spent by provincial and federal governments, and wondered if people were aware of the large percentage of municipal taxes spent by school boards. He also commented that tax payers get more value for money from the municipal government than any other, noting the efficiency of local councils (Signet 24/2/1982)
