Wellesley Maple Leaf - 1900

The newspaper included four pages of national and international news purchased from another news source as well as four pages of local news provided by correspondents in villages in and around the township including Crosshill, Bamberg, Doering’s Corners, Linwood, Amulree, Philipsburg, Lisbon, Josephsburg, Nithburg, Hawkesville, Hampstead, Topping Ratzburg, St. Clements, Baden and more.

While all pages have been scanned, only the local news has been included here to reduce the amount of time taken to load the digital files. A complete digital version of the paper can be viewed in the WTHHS Historical Room.

The quality of the microfilm version of the newspaper varies so some pages are better than others and some issues are missing.

Each issue is a searchable PDF file.
