pretty wedding at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon, when their daughter, Miss Emma, was united in marriage to Mr. Chas. Winkler. The bride was supported by her sister, Miss Lena Wagner, and the groom by Mr. Edward Keena. The bride and bridesmaid were dressed in white, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Mr. Maurer. A sumptuous wedding supper was served after the ceremony. Among the guests were Messrs. Otto and Geo. Wilker of Palmerston; Misses, Jennie and Helen Wilker of Toronto; Mr. Ed. A pretty wedding occurred at the Roman Catholic church here on Tuesday morning, Jan. 3th, Rev. Father Aymens officiating. The bride was Miss Mary Catherine, daughter of Peter Wagner. Esq , who lives a couple of miles north of this place. The groom was Mr. Geo. Reinhert, [sic] a prosperous young farmer of Garrick township, near the village of Formosa. Miss Mary Reinhert,[ sic] sister of the groom, and Miss Marian Eberlin, of Wellesley township were the bridesmaids. The groom was assisted by Messrs. John K. Wagner, of this place, and Mr. John Reinhert [sic] of Formosa. Little Katie Wagner acted as flower girl. After the banquet the bridal party enjoyed a wedding drive to Waterloo and Berlin. Albert took his friends here completely by surprise, nevertheless all wish himself and his bride every happiness. The wedding was a quiet one. Miss Adeline Becker acted as bridesmaid, while Mr. Hy. A very pretty house wedding took place at the residence of M. George Wilhelm, of Poole, on Wednesday afternoon of last week, when his second daughter, Miss Ida, was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Schade, a properous young farmer of Hey township. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. J. L. Morlock under an arch of evergreens, and the bride looked charming in white silk en train, with a gracefull [sic] ficht of white silk and valenciennes lace. She was supported by her cousin, Miss Tilda Lienweber of Tavistock, who was gowned in white organdie, with insertions of lace, and carried pink roses. Miss Ella Wing, of Berlin, played Lohengrins bridal chorus[.] Mr. Israel Wilhelm, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman. After the ceremony had been performed and congratulations extended to the young couple, the guests, about 150 in number, were invited to supper. A very large array of presents attested to the popularity of the bride. Friends were present from Berlin, Waterloo, Tavistock, Shakespeare, New Hamburg and Welleley [sic].
