S. S. #3 - Ninth Line School
Sometime between 1842 and 1846 a log school was erected at the corner of the 9th line and sideroad 18. This building served until 1872 when a clapboard school was built on the present site. The first trustees were James Crookshank, Samuel McKee, George Morrow and John Harron. The school was referred to as Miller’s School in the 1874 Annual School Report.
In 1895, the present white brick school was built. It is now a private residence.
