R. C. S. S. #5 - Ninth Line
R.C S. S. #5, also known as the Ninth Line School and Gless’ School was built in 1894 on land said to have been purchased from Gregory Starr for $5. Even though it was a Catholic school, it was always served by lay teachers . There are no early records for this school.
In 1966, R. C. S. S. #5 joined R. C. S. S. #11 and R. C. S. S. #12 to form the Union of the Combined Roman Catholic Separate Schools of Wellesley Township.
In 1967 R. C. S. S. #12 and R. C.S. S. #5 were closed and became private residences.
