Notes:
Born and raised on Linwood farm
  • 1970-hired by Wellesley Township as road superintendent. 1989-dismissed by Wellesley Township in October after attempts to induce him to leave by giving him additional duties failed. There were accusations that the roads had been improperly looked after. He remained as road superintendent for 19 more months, one for every year he had served the township.
  • Sports-played softball and hockey for Linwood for many years; coached minor and intermediate teams; won numerous championships as player and coach.
  • 1991-elected mayor of Wellesley over Richard Lichty, one of the township officials most responsible for firing him.
